Gingerbread

2-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
2 tsps ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup molasses
1 cup buttermilk

Sift together into mixing bowl flour, salt, soda, ginger, and cinnamon. Cream butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar to butter, beating well after each addition. Add eggs to creamed mixture one at a time. Stir in molasses. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk and mix until smooth after each addition. Pour into buttered and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.

Bake in a 350 degree oven 35 minutes or until tested done. Cool.
